The Installation Language File

During installation you may opt to change the language. Remember, changing the language here will set the default Joomla! language to this and will install all the tables and sample data in that language. So take care to choose the language you want here.

In addition you may want to translate the sample data for the installation. This file path is:

• .\installation\sql\sample_data.sql

Images

Some image files have English words embedded in them. These images can be recreated in your language, the language switching module will dynamically switch the image files. It is left up to the descrection of the administrator to change these images. Use the language creation rules when renaming these. Here is a list of most of the core images that contain English words:
